June 1, 1999 Ann Marie Miller drives in Katy Kresge with the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Marian's softball team to a 7-6 win over Tri-Valley in the District 11 Class A semifinals. Kresge singles, moves to second on a sacrifice and snaps a 6-6 tie when Miller delivers her RBI hit. The Fillies, coached by Michelle Borzok, enjoy a big second inning. Michelle Kott has the key hit during the five-run frame.
