Three-vehicle crash is probed
State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investeigating a three-vehicle crash about 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, along SR61 at the entrance to the Cressona Mall in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.
Troopers said Priscilla R. Mowery, 43, of Pine Grove, was northbound and stopped to make a left turn into the mall. Michael S. Eisenhart, 32, of Stevensville, Md., was southbound in the right lane and Denise Rokosky, 51, of Marlin, Schuylkill County, was stopped at the mall exit road waiting to turn onto 61.
Troopers said Mowery began to turn and corssed into the path of Eisenhart. The right front of Eisenhart's 2009 Hyundai Accent struck the passenger side rear fender of Mowery's 2007 Toyota Yaris. After impact the Yaris spun clockwise about 36 feet where the left rear bumper struck the front of Rokosky's 2007 Toyota 4Runner.
Mowery and her passenger, Benjamin C. Mowery, 20, same address, sustained minor injuries and were transported to a Pottsville hospital. Eisenhart and Rokosky were not injured.
Mowery was cited for vehicle turning left.
