Carbon crash

One person was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, along SR903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Nelson Trembler, 58, of Albrightsville, was operating a 1986 BMW 325 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree along the berm with the front end.

Trembler was injured and transported to the Lehighton hospital by the Lake Harmony ambulance. A young child in a safety seat was not injured, troopers said.

Trembler was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
