Copper tubing stolen from home

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of copper tubing from a home in Monroe County.

Troopers said a residence located along SR209 in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, was entered through a basement window. Once inside the criminals removed all the copper tubing in the basement. The incident occurred sometime between Monday, May 30, and Thursday, June 2.

Troopers are also investigating a criminal mischief incident at a Carbon County site. Carl Fazio, 73, of 37 Fox Hill Rd., Indian Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville, reported someone damaged both mirrors on his Chevrolet Equinox while parked at his residence. The incident occurred sometime between May 25 at 7 p.m. and May 26 at 6:30 a.m.
