Panthers' O'Donnell to attend Bloomsburg

As a Panther grappler, O'Donnell had a 99-22 career record and was a three-time District 11 AA place winner. He was a three-time Schuylkill League finalist, winning two championships at 103 pounds. O'Donnell was a two-time Coal Cracker champion, a Springfield Township Spartan Clash champion and a Glenn Ferry (Idaho) Invitational Tournament champion.
O'Donnell also placed in the medal rounds of the Bethlehem Catholic Christmas City Tournament and the Penn-Manor Tournament.
He holds the Panther Valley's school record for team points in a career (338) and in a season (135) and led the Panthers in team points during each of his three varsity wrestling seasons.
Capping his outstanding career, O'Donnell was named the receipient of the Jamie Weicicoskie Memorial Award given to the wrestler who best represents the qualities of the Panther Valley wrestling program.
O'Donnell current has a 3.83 grade point average and was named to the Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association All-State Academic Second Team. He was Panther Valley's Scholar Athlete at the District 11 Hall of Fame Banquet.
O'Donnell is the son of Mike and Lisa O'Donnell of Summit Hill.
The Panthers finished the season with a 12-11 overall record and won the Schuylkill League Division II championship with a 5-0 record.
