Black Diamonds, Shockers triumph
The Panther Valley Black Diamonds and the Franklin Township Shockers both picked up recent wins in Keystone Senior Babe Ruth League action.

Black Diamonds
The Panther Valley Black Diamonds scored in five of their six atbats and cruised to a 13-6 victory over the Hazleton Mountaineers.
Zach Stanko led the Black Diamonds offensively with three hits, three runs scored, and two RBIs. Greg Pecha added two hits, a run scored and an RBI. Pecha also went the distance on the mound, striking out seven, to pick up the pitching victory.

Shockers-Yankees
AJ Wenrich had a big day at the plate to lead the Franklin Township Shockers to a 7-6 victory over the Towamansing Yankees.
Wenrich had four hits, including a triple and a double, and also knocked in a pair of runs. Anthony Farola also played well as he had a single, a double, and scored two runs.
For Towamensing, Joe Tyahla had a home run and a single; Mike Horvath had three hits and an RBI; and Kyle Kersting had two RBIs.
Wenrich was the winning pitcher with DJ Rossino picking up the save.
