Auditions

The Carbon/Schuylkill Community Theatre will host auditions for "Broadway on Broadway," an upcoming production of 10-minute plays and musical numbers to be staged Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 13 in Jim Thorpe at the Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center.

Needed are actors and actresses, teenagers through adult, to perform in one or more of the original plays. No experience is necessary. Since the plays are short, this is the perfect opportunity for those wishing to give acting a try, without having to make a major commitment to a large scale production.

Those wishing to sing are also welcome to audition. Please bring your own recorded music for the audition, or be prepared to sing a cappella. There will be an accompanist for rehearsals and performances, but there will be no accompanist for auditions.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, June 19 from 5:30-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, June 22, from 7-9 p.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 222 Church St., Lehighton.
