Harassment arrests reported

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two arrests made by troopers following separate incidents in Schuylkill County.

On Friday, May 27, troopers responded ton 2058 Long Run Rd., in North Manheim Township, about 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival troopers were told by George Earhart, 63, that Harold Michael Marshall, 56, both of Schuylkill Haven, had threatened to kill him after being involved in a verbal argument. Marshall was cited for harassment.

On Sunday, May 29, about 2:35 p.m. troopers responded to 400 Sixth St., in Schoentown, East Norwegian Township. Troopers said upon arrival they were told that Charles J. Porter, 23, of Pottsville, had spit in the face of Joseph Generella, 32, also of Pottsville, and then whipped him in the back of the neck with a spark plug wire several times. Porter was cited for harassment.
