Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 5:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, along SR209 near Hemlock St., Franklin Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Mark Anthony McKeown, 52, of Stroudsburg, was stopped for several motor vehicle code violations. H was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers added.
