Monroe driver facing DUI count
A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash.
State police at Lehighton said William Michael O'Neill, 49, of Saylorsburg, was driving along Mountain Road, near Tittle Road, in Ross Township, about 5:08 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, when his vehicle left the road and collided into a tree.
Troopers said O'Neill was found to be under the influence and was transported to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test.
The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
