Theft incident

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident.

Troopers said Renee and Carl Shupp, of Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, reported they purchased a 1955 Chevrolet and stored it in a wooded area between Hawk Farm and Little Gap roads, in the township. Sometime overnight of Friday, June 10, and Saturday, unknown persons removed numerous parts from the vehicle that were valued at $2,000.
