No injuries in Schuylkill crash

No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 2:45 p.m. on Friday, June 10, along SR54 at Spruce St., in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Joshua M. Kester, 16, of Mahanoy City, was eastbound operating a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder while John D. Bobbit, 24, of Ringtown, was westbound driving a 1996 Plymouth Neon. Kester attempted to turn onto Spruce St. and pulled into the path of Bobbit, tropoers said. The front of Kester's vehicle hit the side of Bobbit's car. Damages were moderate to both vehicles.

Troopers said Kester was cited for causing the crash.
