Schuylkill driver arrested in Monroe
A Schuylkill County driver was arrested in Monroe County following a vehicle stop.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said Brittany Obrzut, 19, of Shenandoah, was stopped about 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, along SR115 in Tunkhannock, for a traffic violation. At the stop Obrzut consented to a vehicle search. As a result police found various drug paraphernalia items in the vehicle along with a small amount of marijuana.
Obrzut was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and later released. She will be charged with two drug counts, police said.
