Break-in, theft and mischief incidents
State police at Fern Ridge reported investigatin a burglary, theft from a vehicle and criminal mischief incidents.
The break-in occurred at the residence of Jeffrey J. Krause, 1710 Donalds Rd., Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said unknown crimianls climbed on top of the roof of a small attached shed and forced open window to gain entry. Once inside they removed a flat screen television. The incident occurred sometime between 6 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. on May 18.
Kevin Dykckman, of Saylorsburg, reported the factory installed hub caps on his 2005 Hyundai were removed while it was parked in the lot of 48 Hour Video store in Chestnuthill Township. The theft occurred sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on May 20.
Kanubhai Patel, of Stroudsburg, reported someone peeled the weather striping from the edges of the windows of his property along SR209 near the Pleasant Valley High School in Chestnuthill Township. The incident occurred sometime between May 19 at 7 p.m. and May 20 at 1 p.m.
