Historical society
The Eldred Township Historical Society is looking for donations for its Chinese auction to be held at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company's Carnival. If you would like to make a donation, see that it is there at St. Matthew's UCC's picnic grove Tuesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. or call Brenda Dorshimer at (610) 381-3895.
Because of the carnival, there will be no ETHS meeting on June 21. The next scheduled meeting will be on Tuesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the Eldred Twp. municipal building.
Yoga in the grove
There will be a free yoga class in the picnic grove on Wednesday, June 22 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or beach towel.
Chestnut Ridge Seniors
The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will not meet June 23 because of the carnival. The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, July 14 and they will be celebrating Independence Day with hot dogs and sauerkraut. You are asked to bring a dessert. They will be playing Bingo.
Youth group
St. Matt's youth group will meet Friday, June 17 at 5 p.m.
