Theft of canoe being probed
State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of a canoe.
Troopers said Curtis English, 77, of 58 Behren's Rd., Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported a 13-foot fiberglass canoe was removed from the rear of his property.
It is a green, Old Towne Discovery Sport canoe, valued at $250.
The theft occurred sometime between June 12-14.
