Auto crash suit
Elsie J. Beckett, 1621 Balkeslee Blvd. Drive East, Lehighton, filed a civil complaint against Thomas J. Osgood, 9 W. Columbus Ave., Nesquehoning, and George Strubinger, 334 South Ave., Jim Thorpe.
The suit states on Oct. 3, 2009, Osgood was driving a vehicle owned by Strubinger that collided into a vehicle operated by the plaintiff. Negligence is alleged and damages are sought for injuries sustained a detailed in the suit. Sought are damages in excess of the jurisdictional requirements for mandatory arbitration on each of two counts.
