Graduates magna cum laude from Penn State
Megan Elizabeth Janowiak, daughter of Marie and Michael Carroll of Nesquehoning, graduated magna cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University on May 15. She received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Legal Environment of Business from the Smeal College of Business with a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.90.
While she attended Penn State, Megan was actively involved on the executive board for Women in Business as Membership Director, Alpha Lamda Delta National Freshmen Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
She was on the Dean's List for every semester since her freshman year. She also received the following awards: The Pennsylvania State University President's Freshman Award, The Penn State University Sparks Award, and the Charles Wayne Shaeffer Scholarship.
Next fall, Megan will be attending the Dickinson School of Law at The Pennyslvnia University.
