March 2, 1991 Brian Lazarus scores a game-high 22 points, including 14 in the first half, to help Northwestern gain a 66-44 win over rival Northern Lehigh in the District 11 Class AA quarterfinals. The Tigers, coached by John Schmoyer, finish the game 27-of-47 from the floor and also receive 16 points from Mike Wertman. Jim Kistler contributes nine points to the winning cause while Brett Fristick adds eight and Jason Zimmerman chips in with seven.
