West Penn Township police are encouraging residents to lock their vehicles.

Police are investigating four unlocked vehicles that had items removed from them over the past week. The first unlocked vehicle robbed of items occurred last week on SR895 near The Pines development, in which an I-phone, jacket, hoodie, and change were stolen.

The three other unlocked vehicles were only robbed of loose change sometime between Monday night into Tuesday morning and were all located around the 900 block of Clamtown Road, SR443, near Park Drive in the village of Clamtown.

Police encourage anyone with information about these thefts to call them at (570) 386-1100.
