Warrant arrest

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of a Monroe County man on an outstanding criminal warrant.

Police said on Wednesday, March 9, about 9 a.m. officers responded to 1208 Winding Way, Tobyhanna, in an attempt to serve a county bench warrant on Henry Nyanti Jr., 23, of Tobyhanna. Police found Nyanti at the residence and took him into custody without incident.

Nyanti was then transported to the county prison in Snydersville. The original charge against Nyanti is possession of marijuana, police said.
