Granted divorce
Kerry L. Klinger Jr., 225 N. Market St., New Ringgold, was granted a divorce from Rachael L. Klinger, Pine Grove. They were married May 24, 2003.
Brian A. Dewitt, Port Carbon, was granted a divorce from Rachael M. Dewitt, Schuylkill Haven. They were married Aug. 30, 2008.
Teresa L. Kibe, Pottsville, was granted a divorce from Gregory K. Kibe, Leesport. They were married Aug. 4, 1982.
Rachel A. Zimmerman, Tower City, was granted a divorce from Steven D. Zimmerman, Pine Grove. They were married Aug. 18, 2001.
Shawn T. Schnoke, Pine Grove, was granted a divorce from Patricia A. Schnoke, Tremont. They were married July 1, 2005.

David G. Comisac, 116 Lewis St., Tamaqua R.D., started a divorce action against Lynn M. Comisac, 1300 Shady Lane, New Ringgold. They were married June 7, 1985.
John M. Shala, 338 E. Market St., Mahanoy City, filed suit for divorce from Jessica A. Shala, 112 Roosevelt Drive, Morea, Mahanoy Township. They were married May 19, 2001.
Honor Judge Stine
The Schuylkill County Bar Association honored Judge D. Michael Stine at a dinner held at the Schuylkill County Country Club. Stine retired last January as an associate judge of the Court of Common Pleas . Principal speaker was Schuylkill County President Judge William E. Baldwin. Stine's son, Attorney Michael Stine, was master of ceremonies.
No windmills
The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court upheld a ruling by Schuylkill County Judge Charles M. Miller in denying Broad Mountain Development Company, L.L.C., a zoning permit to construct 27 windmills along the mountain range in Butler Township.
A group of citizens intervened objecting to the wind mills, citing noise, ice, fires, potential health problems and lower property values as their reasons for objecting. The area is zoned WC (Woodland Conservation) District.
