Revocations

Duane Edward Kanger, 42, Pottsville, had his parole revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and he was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence. In May 2007 he pleaded gulty to possession of a controlled substance and after serving six months in jail was relesed on probation. It was revoked in March 2009 and after serving more time in prison was again released. He has 81 days credit in jail.

Michael Robert Bramley, 35, Minersville, had his parole revoked by Jude Baldwin and he was remanded to the county prison with his street time disallowed. He has 35 days credit in jail.

Bramley pleaded guilty in February 2008 to theft of a vehicle and after serving 54 days was released on probation, however, it was revoked in January 2010 and after doing more time in jail was again released. The court will not consider parole until three months are spent in prison.

Jonathan Michael Kramer, 31, Pine Grove, had his arole revoked by Judge Baldwin and his 79 days of liberty were taken away and he was committed to prison and the court will not consider parole for another six months. He is eligible for work release. Kramer pleaded guilty to drug charges in November 2007 and after spending a year in the county prison was released on parole.

Divorces granted

Daniel A. Coccio, 322 Washington St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorcefrom Rebecca Coccio, 23 John Street, Tamaqua R.D. They were married April 11, 1999.

Manfred G. Pollak Jr., Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from Andrea M. Pollak, Virginia Beach, Va. They were marreid Dec. 22, 2006.

Daniel D. Mervine, Warminster, was granted a divorce from Sheila A. Mervine, Ashland. They were married June 26, 1992.

Michael G. Blouch was granted a divorce from Ann M. Blouch, both of Pine Grove. They were married Jan. 28, 1978.

Thomas Christopher Steranko was granted a divorce from Tara R. Steranko, both of Palo Alto. They were married Aug. 23, 2005.

Kristyn C. Buffington was granted a divorce from Craig L. Buffington, both of Pottsville. They were married May 16, 2009.

Donna Devine, Shenandoah, was granted a divorce from Harry Devine, Saint Clair. They were married May 13, 2008.

Kristen Land, Donaldson, Tremont Township, was granted a divorce from Emory J. Land, Tremont. They were married May 24,2009.

Guilty plea

Andre J. Smith-Morales, 30, of 125 W. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to a time served (22 days) to 12 months. Since she served her minimum sentence she was paroled and the bench warrant issued against her was lifted.

She also must pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and make restitution of $239 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Charges of retail theft at Walmart Store, Tide Road, Rush Township, and harassment were nol prossed. Smith-Morales was cited by Rush Patrolman Brian Thompson, in October 2009.
