Driver cited after crash

A driver, involved in a crash in Nesquehoning on March 6, has been cited. The crash occurred along SR209 near radio station WLSH and involved a 1999 white Infiniti QX4 sports utility vehicle.

Police Chief Sean Smith identified the driver as Jarred Klager, of 228 Canal St., Lehighton. Following an investigation Smith charged Klager with driving under suspension, dirivng a vehicle at an (un) safe speed, and careless driving. Smith said it was reported while he was at the scene that the vehicle had been stolen from Michael Kulp, of 281-119 Lower Nis Hollow Road, in Lehighton. Smith said Kulp did not want to pursue any charges relative to the vehicle being stolen.
