Nine members of the West End Irish American Association performed Irish Ceili (pronounced kay-lee) dancing at Mrs. Bush's Nursing Home on the afternoon of St. Patrick's Day. Various group dances were performed with recorded traditional Irish music. Many of these dances are over 100 years old. WEIAA is a small adult group from Gilbert. Members take lessons from Jeanie Cunningham on Monday nights at the American Legion from 7-9 p.m. Any adult is welcome to join, even those who are not Irish.
