March 28, 1979 Danny Wehr's run-scoring double in the sixth inning proves to be the eventual game-winner as Panther Valley edges Williams Valley, 7-6. Wehr finishes with two hits for the Panthers, coached by Bob Gelatko. John Staivecki collects a double and triple for the winners while Dave Stanko pitches the first five innings to gain the mound win and relieves in the seventh to also earn the save.
