Theft of copper is investigated

The theft of copper from a Schuylkill County site is being investigated.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the theft occurred at the Highridge Reservoir treatment building in Pine Grove Township, sometime overnight of Sunday, March 27, and Monday.

The copper wiring was stolen from about six and seven-foot long lightning arrestors valued at about $500. The property is owned by the city of Labanon Water Authority.
