Burglary and theft incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary and theft and incidents recently.

The burlgary occurred at 183 Watercrest Ave., in the Birch Hollow Estates, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Entry was gained to the residence sometime between Jan. 27 and Saturday, March 26, by smashing a window. Nothing was apparently taken in the break-in, troopers said. The home is owned by Yotav Eliach, of New York City, N.Y.

Troopers said unknown criminals removed the registration plate from the vehicle of Helen Cynthia Rigolini, 51, of 2290 Mount Laurel Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, while parked at her residence. The theft occurred sometime overnight of Sunday, March 27, and Monday. The plate number is FLH4377.

Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
