Concert of hope

The Watoto (pronounced Wah-2-2) Children's Choir from Uganda, Africa, will give a "Concert of Hope" at Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton, on Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the concert is to raise awareness of the plight of two million children in Uganda that have been left parentless as a result of war and disease.

The choir is very uplifting (check it out on YouTube). It raises money for both the children's plight and their travels through love offerings, products sold at the concerts and individual (or congregational) sponsorships of the children.

A fellowship time with refreshments will follow.
