Schuylkill crash
State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, along SR61, at the intersection with S. Liberty Street in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.
Troopers said Robert L. McClintock, 54, of Seltzer, was northbound and approaching the intersection while Diane Ward, 54, of Orwigsburg, was stopped in the left southbound lane waiting to turn left onto S. Liberty.
Trooeprs said Ward began to turn left and her 1999 Subaru Impreza was struck by McClintock's 1998 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.
After impact the Subaru began to spin counter-clockwise and was pushed back north about 50 feet before coming to rest facing southeast in the southbound lane. The pickup truck veered to the right after impact and traveled about 50 feet before coming to final rest facing east in the northbound lane.
Ward, McClintock and his passenger, Kim Holley, 52, of Pottsville, were all injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson Street, Pottsville, for treatment.
Troopers said Ward was cited for vehicle turning left.
