A huge seven-run second inning proved crucial as Lehighton pounded out seven hits in that frame alone.
Tyler Harris finished 2-for-2 with a RBI and a run, Joe Oriel was 2-for-3 with a run, and Steve Shanton was 2-for-3 with a RBI and two runs scored.

Northern Lehigh used a frantic comeback to pull off an 8-7 Colonial League win over Palmerton.
Scoring five runs in the bottom of the seventh, the 'Dawgs erased a 7-3 Blue Bomber lead to pull out the win.
Matt Gill was 2-for-4 with two triples and three RBIs, Kyle Schomp was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, while teammate Kirk Bender finished 2-for-5 and produced the game-winning hit.
For Palmerton, Aaron Cook was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, Tyler Svetik finished 2-for-3, CJ Cressman was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Christian Marcin had a two-run double.

Tamaqua-Hamburg
Hamburg defeated Tamaqua, 5-2, in a non-league game.
For Hamburg, Klee struck out 12 batters and only gave up three hits in the win. Snyder had two singles on the day while teammate Stafford added a double in the win.
Krissy Bates had double and scored a run for Tamaqua. Emily Zancofsky added an RBI single.

Kristen Breiner finished with a great performance from the plate as she belted a grand slam in the fourth and finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Teammate Brooke Lucykanish was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
For JT (0-7), Joscelyn DeMarco was 1-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored. Sydney Wernett had a triple in the top of the fourth to score DeMarco.
Lehighton improves to 3-7 on the year.

Weil struck out eight to pick up the pitching win.
