Bucks driver cited for DUI in Rush
A Bucks County man is facing numerous charges in Rush Township following a May 12 incident.
William P. Baronofsky, 49, of Quakertown, was driving in the area of the Hometown Commons Walmart at 9:08 p.m. One of the tires was missing and Baronofsky was driving on a rim and without headlights. At the stop the officer detected an odor of alcohol and noticed signs of intoxication and transported him to the station for a portable breat test.
The results indicated a .158 blood alcohol content, almost two times the .08 limit. Baronofsky will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and traffic related offenses.
