Teen crashes while looking for iPod

A 17-year-old Lehighton female was cited after she crashed her vehicle after becoming distracted while searching for an iPod she dropped.

State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred about 6:20 p.m. on Friday, May 20, along Stagecoach Road, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Morgan A. Myers crashed her 1997 Toyota Camry after losing control. The vehicle traveled off the road and struck a street sign and tree. Myers was not injured.

She was cited for careless driving.
