NL Halloween Parade rescheduled
The 104th annual Greater Northern Lehigh Halloween Parade has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.
Sponsored by the Northern Lehigh Events Committee, the parade will form at 4:30 p.m. at South and Main Street in Slatington. From there, it will follow Main Street through Slatington, over the General Morgan Bridge, and continue into Walnutport, where it will then turn onto Lincoln Avenue.
Walking groups and small floats will be picked up at the Walnutport Playground, while large floats pull into the shopping center parking lot for unloading. Streets in the boroughs of Slatington and Walnutport will be closed to traffic as of 4 p.m.
The theme of this year's parade is "Board Games Galore", and will consist of various Halloween-themed entries.
Anyone who would like to volunteer on the committee, or with questions about the parade, may call (484) 265-1028.
Slatington Lions Club
