Look Good, Feel Better

The American Cancer Society will host a free Look Good, Feel Better makeover workshop from 4-6 p.m., Nov. 14, at the Schuylkill Medical Center-South, 420 S. Jackson St., Pottsville. The session is open to local female cancer patients actively undergoing cancer treatment. It will be held in the board room.

Trained cosmetologists will meet with patients to discuss ways of using makeup and accessories to minimize appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Each woman will learn to apply makeup, using kits provided through ACS's partnership with the Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrance Association and the National Cosmetology Association.
