November 4, 1960 Bobby Gelatko scores three touchdowns and sets up a fourth to lead Lansford to a 26-6 victory over Jim Thorpe. After Mike Karnish recovers a fumble, Gelatko opens the scoring early with a six-yard run. His 30-yard punt return and 20-yard run sets up a two-yard tally by Geno Nardini. The Panthers, coached by Dick Forster, also receive Geltako TD runs of nine and 55 yards in the second half to seal the win. The Olympians avoid the shutout with a 12-yard scoring pass from Jim Borosh to Ned Reabold.
