Studying abroad

Amanda Conahan, daughter of Glenn and Diane Conahan of Hometown, is studying abroad while furthering her education. A senior at Moravian College, majoring in Classics/ Latin, she is attending the National University of Ireland, Galway, for the Fall semester.

Following a brief trip home for the holidays, she will continue her education at the John Cabot University in Rome. The 2008 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Conahan is the granddaughter of Edward "Yippie" and Margaret Kostek of Lansford and the late Raymond "Fritz" and Betty Conahan of Tamaqua.
