Wright named U.S. Army "honor grad"

PV2 Michael Wright of Lehighton, a 2010 graduate of Lehighton Area High School entered the U.S. Army in May 2011 for basic training in Ft. Jackson, S.C. From there he went directly to AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) at Ft Lee, VA where he also trained in water treatment. He graduated AIT and received "honor grad."

After a few weeks at home he will be continuing his service at Ft Drum, N.Y.

He is the son of Todd and Cheryl Wright of Alburtis and Lisa Murray Woodring and Wayne Woodring of Lehighton. Grandparents are Naomi and John Murray of Jim Thorpe.
