Vehicle break-in

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a vehicle break-in that occurred in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the locked 2005 Toyota Corolla of Shirley Donton, 76, of 532 W. Savory St., Palo Alto, was entered while parked near her home. The criminals smashed the driver's side window out to gain entry. Removed was a purse from the glove box which contained Donton's drivers' license and credit cards.

The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
