Zehner's Bucknell debut impressive

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Amy Zehner, a Tamaqua Area High School graduate who is has made varsity starter on the women's basketball team at Bucknell, put up a double-double in her debut Friday night.

Bucknell won 46-35 over Saint Peter's at Sojka Pavilion.

Zehner's had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

She clinched the double-double with a rebound late in the second half, became the first Bison freshman to record a double-double since Joyce Novacek at the end of the 2007-08 season.

She also finished the night with a game-best four blocked shots.
