Receives B.S. degree in nursing from Drexel

Christine Mary Farole, daughter of Danny and Nina Farole, of Lehighton graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in nursing degree from Drexel University, Philadelphia, on October 1, 2011, and recently received her license as a registered nurse.

Christine is a 2006 honor student graduate of Marian High School and a 2010 graduate from Penn State University where she earned a B.S. degree in Nutritional Science. She then attended the 11 month accelerated nursing program (ACE) at Drexel where she received a B.S. degree in nursing. At her pinning ceremony Christine was honored with an award for excellence in her pediatrics' clinical at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. (CHOP)

Christine plans on relocating to Shreveport, Louisiana, where she hopes to gain employment with the Willis-Knight Health Systems.

Christine has two brothers, Danny and Anthony, and is the granddaughter of Danny and Peggy Farole of Nesquehoning and Fred and Josephine Hellmund from Summit Hill.
