Brian D. White Sr., 134 Bridge St., Lehighton, filed against Jeanmarie White, same address. They were married Nov. 13, 2010.

Medical bills

Remit Corporation, of Bloomsburg, filed three civil complaints on behalf of Blue Mountain Health Systems, for medical bills allegedly owed for services rendered at area hospitals.

Defendants named and amounts sought were: Robert Christman, 1729 SR903, Jim Thorpe, seeking $5,668.65; Tammy Piparato,114 Bear Creek Lake Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking $1,086.85; and John W. Nickerson, 4145 Fireline Rd., Palmerton, seeking $12,236.35. Also sought is interest, costs and fees.

Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

Deutsche Bank National Trust, One Home Plaza, Warwick, R.I., filed against Celesse A. Phillips, 443 E. Abbott St., Lansford, over property at that address. Sought is $31,650.44 and continuing interest.

Citimortgage, 1000 Technology Drive, O'Fallon, Ohio, filed against Michael E. Park, 422 Second St., Weatherly, over property at that address. Sought is $93,003.88 and continuing interest.

The Jim Thorpe National Bank, 12 Broadway, Jim Thorpe, filed against James L. Hartman, 213 Oak St., Jim Thorpe, over property at that address. Soguht is $76,167.99 and continuing interest.

PNC Bank, 3232 Newmark Drive, Miamisburg, Ohio, filed against Jay A. and Dorota M. Ketch, 132 Sagniaw Drive, Jim Thorpe, over property at that address. Sought is $247,828.57 and continuing interest.

Landmark Community Bank, 2 S. Main St., Pittston, filed against Carlo Sibilla and Diana Mauceri, 97-24 101 St., Ozone Park, N.Y., over property at Lot 1008, Section B, Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township. Sought is $37,955.92 and continuing interest.

Auto crash suit

Pervis Johnson, 382 Towamensing Trails, Albrightsville, filed a civil complaint against Dean J. DiBonifazio and Mary T. Kemmerle, both of 257 Bear Creek Drive, Jim Thorpe.

The suit states the plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle operated by DiBonifazio, and owned by Kemmerle, that crashed into a ditch along Patten Circle, in Penn Forest Township, on May 1.

The suit charges DiBonifazio was negligent and alleges that he was intoxicated at the time and was underage to consume alochol. Sought are damages for injuries sustained and detailed in the suit. Damages in excess of $50,000 is sought on each of two counts plus interest, costs and fees.

Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Discover Bank, of New Castle, Del., filed against William Moore, 362 State St., White Haven, seeking $1,632.44.

LVNV Funding, of Scranton, filed two actions as follows: Bonnie Conklin, 65 Lower Smith Gap Rd., Palmerton, seeking $1,042.66; and Daniel Manginelli, 15 Beers Country Rd., Palmerton, seeking $962.01.

Capital One Bank, of Scranton, filed five actions as follows: Angela L. Costello, 645 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, seeking $9,891.27; Edward R. Geiger Jr., 43 E. Hazard St., Summit Hill, seeking $2,837.22; Carla A. Dorward, 922 Rock St., Lehighton, seeking $2,374.45; Doug Lucich, 230 Princeton Ave., Palmerton, seeking $16,283.10; and David K. Quinn, 340 Bear Creek Lake Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking $16,668.46.
