Thanking all for generosity

Dear Editor:

On Oct. 30th, two communities came together in the most positive of ways. My hometown of Tamaqua, and my adopted hometown of Palmerton and all their wonderful people held a fund-raising auction to defer my medical expenses secondary to my battle with breast cancer.

I would like to thank all the residents and local businesses that donated items or came to the auction and enjoyed a great afternoon.

Of course any fundraiser of this size requires the dedication of some very special individuals. These women were able to set a goal to help me and far surpass any possible amount they could imagine.

I will never forget their kindness. those angels are Mary Ann Deeble, Denise Sincavage, Stacey Clemson, Nancy Reese, Janet Lindermuth, Ann Behler and Jeanne Samok. True angels on earth.

To my family and friends, I will always pay your generosity forward.
