'Juniors' prepare treats for seniors

Nesquehoning Mayor Tony Walck and members of the Nesquehoning Junior Recreation Committee met on Monday to prepare fruit and candy bags for homebound elderly residents of Nesquehoning. The JRC has been assembling baskets for the seniors for the past four years. Holding the prepared bags are, front row from left, Madison Heckman, Alexis Cooper and Jacob Taras. Back row, Samantha Zlock, Kelsey Van Horn, Megan Heckman, Richelle Van Horn and Jordan Devitt. The group prepared 25 baskets that will be taken to the Panther Valley Senior Center today for distribution.
