Dressed as Pilgrims and Indians, students at Jack and Jill Preschool, Lehighton, celebrated the goodness of Thanksgiving on Tuesday, with songs and homemade treats for their families.

It was the 25th year for the annual event. Some of the songs the 4- and 5-year-olds sang included "Albuquerque is a Turkey," "Lord We Thank Thee For This Food," and "If You're Happy and You Know It."

The children's costumes were made by their parents or guardians.

After the performance, the gathering feasted on jelly sandwiches and cheese sandwiches made by the children; grapes, popcorn and apple juice.
