The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School.
She earned a bachelor of arts in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice and social work from East Stroudsburg University.
She is employed by Sanofi Pasteur.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Maureen and George Bower of West Deptford, N.J. He is a 2005 graduate of West Deptford High School in New Jersey.
He earned a bachelor of science in biology from Kutztown University.
He is currently employed by Sanofi Pasteur.
A wedding date has been set for Sept. 29, 2012.
