Lansford man cited in Tamaqua
A Lansford man was cited by Tamaqua police after he was found in a highly intoxicated state on Nov. 12.
An officer was on patrol on Taggertsville Road at 4:49 a.m. and observed a black 1999 Ford parked to the side of the road. The man behind the steering wheel was slumped over into the passenger seat.
After repeated raps on the window the officer was able to rouse the male, identified as Timothy M. Dunstan, 41, of 210 E. Patterson St. A strong odor of alcohol came from Dunstan, who was also unsteady on his feet when he exited the vehicle. The officer observed a clear glass pipe with burnt residue in plain sight.
Dunstan was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and having an expired inspection sticker.
