Slatington couple celebrate 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Miller
Carol and Gary Miller of Slatington recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Nov. 26, 1961 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Slatington, by the Rev. Earl Kreidler.
Mrs. Miller is the former Carol Henry, daughter of the late Mark and Erma Henry of Slatington. Her husband is the son of the late David and Erma Miller of Laurys Station, Pa.
The Millers have a daughter, LaRee, wife of Kevin Fegely of Mertztown; and a son, Chad, husband of Denise Miller of New Tripoli. They have six grandchildren: Heather, Devon, Brandon and Hunter Miller; and Jacob and Rachel Fegely.
The couple renewed their wedding vows on Nov. 26 at the church where they were married, surrounded by family and friends. A reception followed in the church social hall.
