October 5, 1984 John Hadesty throws a pair of fourth-quarter touchdown passes to help lead Tamaqua to a 13-8 victory over North Schuylkill. Hadesty breaks a scoreless tie in the final quarter by tossing a 45-yard TD strike to Tom Slover. After the Spartans come back and take a lead with under two minutes to play, the Raiders' QB drives his team 80 yards for the winning score - a 34-yard touchdown pass to Mark Oswald. Tamaqua, coached by Tom Bonner, also receives 94 yards rushing from Glenn Comisac.
