Monroe crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 3:12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, along Merwinsburg Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Kiel M. Barton, 17, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1999 Cadillac Seville, when it crashed into a concrete bridge rail.

Barton sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention. Troopers said he was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
